I am teaching myself how to paint in watercoulours, and it is difficult. I want to be able to master something as soon as I pick it up, so as my first foray into visual art (that I have to create myself from scratch, unlike photography or fractals, which most of the work is done for me) I am finding it a bit frustrating. I enjoy the process itself, but not the end result. I guess I just need to practice more and become comfortable with it as a whole. I've been looking for an adult ed class to take, but so far have had no luck. I do know that abstract is beyond me...I far prefer a realism approach to painting.
My camera broke, so until I get another in April or so, I won't be posting any photography.
I am writing a bit, but not as much as I used to. The spark just isn't there...I've posted a few poems on my LemonFingers site this fall, ( [link] ), but not anything spectacular. I have about 5 to type out and post, so maybe I'll get ambitious this week and do it.
I've been playing WoW CONSTANTLY. It's a good time-burner, and I enjoy the people I have met from there. Several of them also write, and it's been fun being able to bounce ideas back and forth again. The server is Uldum and my main is Dahija if you play and would like to drop me a line.
Once again, thanks to everyone that has been commenting and such, I appreciate the support.
P.S. Remember what I told you about 3 a.m.? It still applies.

Creativity is essentially a lonely art. An even lonelier struggle. To some a blessing. To others a curse. It is in reality the ability to reach inside yourself and drag forth from your very soul an idea -Lou Dorfsman
